We are not responsible for any loss or damage caused by insufficient packaging or failure to follow instructions. Complaints for lost Boxes must follow our procedure.
Upon receiving your Box, we will appraise your items within five working days and inform you of the results by phone. If we're unable to reach you by phone, we'll follow up via email or SMS.
Should we make an offer after the appraisal, it will be valid for five working days. If you don't respond by phone or email after another seven days, we may send an email asking you to get in touch regarding your offer.
You will be deemed to have accepted the offer if you inform us within this period via phone, email, or SMS.
If no response is received within 14 days, your items will be considered abandoned, and we reserve the right to dispose of them. You agree that we are not responsible for any direct or indirect loss resulting from your failure to respond within the offer period.
If you contact us after 14 days, we may no longer have your items in our possession. Ownership and risk in the items do not transfer to us until a contract is finalised through offer acceptance or abandonment of items.
Once you accept an offer, a binding legal contract is formed, and ownership of your items will transfer to Antique Buying Collective in exchange for the agreed-upon payment.
If you decline an offer, your items will be returned to you, as outlined in section 7.
Payment for accepted items will be made as specified in section 10.
You have the right to cancel the contract under section 8, but due to the nature of our business, once you accept the offer, cancellation rights will expire.
The Antique Buying Collective reserves the right to reject any item without obligation to explain the reason for rejection.
If your items are rejected, we will notify you via email. If we do not appraise your items within 14 days, they will be considered rejected.
Rejected items will be returned to your registered address. We may accept some items from a group and reject others. In such cases, rejected items will be returned at no cost to you.
Items rejected by Antique Buying Collective should arrive back within 5-10 working days. If returned items are not collected after a delivery attempt, they will be held for 28 days before being deemed abandoned.
If a box arrives without identifying details and we receive no contact from you, we will hold the items for 28 days, after which they will be deemed abandoned and disposed of.
You have the legal right to cancel any Contract with us within 14 days starting from the day after the Contract is formed. This period is called the “Cancellation Period.” However, the Cancellation Period ends immediately once we start providing Services.
Your right to cancel any Contract with Antique Buying Collective for selling Items ends immediately once you confirm acceptance of the Offer and funds are transferred to you. If, after sending Items, you decide not to proceed with the appraisal, you can notify us in writing, and your Items will be returned as outlined in clause 6.
If you request cancellation after we’ve begun providing the Services but before processing your Items, we will try to cancel the Contract, though we cannot guarantee this. Once you accept the Offer, cancellation is no longer possible under clause 6.
To cancel, contact us at within the Cancellation Period.
